THE FOUR COMMON ASSETS THAT COULD PROMOTE VIETNAM-TURKEY COOPERATION: AMBASSADOR

►Turkey and Vietnam could be considered as gateways to accessing the each other’s regions. Turkish products could access the 680 million person market of ASEAN countries through Vietnam. Vice versa, Vietnamese companies could enter the huge Middle East market through Turkey.

►The historical development of the two countries have created a good and sympathetic image of each other, helping people in the two countries understand each other better, creating favorable conditions for cooperation in the future.

►The governments of the two countries are actively strengthening cooperation in each other’s regions. In 2019, Turkey announced the Asia Anew Initiative, which accelerated the country’s focus on the AsiaPacific region. On the other hand, Vietnam always emphasizes strengthening international cooperation with other partners through implementing Vietnam’s comprehensive and extensive international integration policy. Moreover, Vietnam also has a project called ‘Developing relations between Vietnam and countries in the Middle East from 2016-2025.’
