EMBASSY TO ADVANCE MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING

Vietnamese businesses are actively seeking to know more about the Turkish market, yet information is limited, according to Dr. Do Son Hai, Ambassador of Vietnam to Turkey. He cited the agricultural sector, saying that some Vietnamese companies believe that their Turkish counterparts are competitors with similar products and that the two countries cannot cooperate. “In fact, the two countries have different product categories and even have different harvest times for some species, which indicates that Vietnamese and Turkish businesses could complement each other in this field. Therefore, going forward, our embassy will put more effort into advancing mutual understanding between two markets,” he said.
