KERRY GROUP TO MEET DEMAND WITH A NEW PRODUCTION LINE

The Ireland-based food company Kerry Group, which entered Turkey in 2006, has put into use its third production line to meet increasing demand, according to Inanc Isik, Turkey, Middle East, and Pakistan General Manager of Kerry Group. The firm continued to grow in the country after it acquired the Tuzla production plant of the Krater brand in 2015. “This year, we’ve exceeded the level of demand we received in 2019. Our third production line has entered into service at our Tuzla facility to meet this demand,” said Isik. The new production line will also increase the company’s production capacity. Kerry Group operates in the Turkish food ingredients and out-ofhome (OOH) consumption sectors with its Da Vinci Gurme, Ravifruit, and Krater brands. The company has also developed an ice cream in line with local tastes and innovation expectations of consumers with its R&D study in the country. “We aim to grow our brands by continuing innovation with our R&D studies,” said Isik. Kerry Group operates 152 production plants in 36 countries with over 22,000 employees across the world. MEHMET HANIFI GULEL
