RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY PRICE INDEX JUMPS 127.0%
The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) jumped 127.0% in April, compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the Central Bank. The RPPI rose by 34.9% in the same period. The price hike exceeded 131.0% for new residences. The RPPI surged by 10.2% to 383.1 in April, compared to the previous month. The RRPI increased by 10.7% in Istanbul, 10.6% in Ankara, and 9.7% in Izmir in April, month-over-month. The RPPI soared 142.2% in Istanbul, 130.9% in Ankara, and 122.6% in Izmir in April, year-over-year.
