Akbank Jazz Festival

Akbank is organizing the 31st edition of the Akbank Jazz Festival between October 1-10 this year. Dubbed one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in Europe, the Akbank Jazz Festival will host special performances by more than 100 artists from the Turkish Jazz scene in 10 locations, in collaboration with Pozitif. The festival aims to bring different genres of music together alongside jazz, expanding its musical horizon to include various electronic, hip-hop and world music. Thd Elif Caglar Quartet together with the Defjen Daf Ensemble will open the festival on October 1 at Galataport Istanbul Paket Postanesi. The Oguz Buyukberber Trio feat Derya Turkanand Apostolos Sideris will follow the opening performance on October 2nd at Babylon. Various other Turkish and foreign musicians will perform as part of the festival, including Kamufle and Lara Di Lara, Ediz Hafizoglu feat. Ceylan Ertem, Cenk Erdogan and Ilhan Ersahin and Arto Tuncboyaciyan.
