FUSUN ONUR: OPUS II ɘ FANTASIA

Arter hosts the new exhibition of Fusun Onur, one of the pioneers of contemporary art in Turkey. Curated by Emre Baykal, the artist’s installation, Opus II – Fantasia, from the Arter Collection primarily carries references to music. Deploying every day, fictional and autobiographical elements to explore form, space, time and the relations among them through a dizzying variety of materials, Onur approaches music as a process that engages multiple senses. In the installation, the artist uses four ordinary objects as the medium and elements of music, interpreting space and time through rhythm and variations.

The exhibition is available at Arter from Tuesday to Saturday between 11am and 5pm.
