CONSTRUCTION COST INDEX SKYROCKETS

The Construction Cost Index (CCI) increased by 35.48% in April, compared to the same month of the previous year, according to TurkStat. The CCI also rose by 3.54% in April on monthly basis. The material index surged by 43.07% while the labor index increased by 20.62% in April on annual basis. The material index rose by 4.89% and the labor index surged by 0.53% in April, compared to the previous month. The building CCI surged by 34.63% in April, compared to the same month of the previous year, while the CCI for civil engineering increased by 38.42% in this period.
